is precious gems
strung upon
a silver chain
days diamond bright
and cold
nights
onyx deep
with passion
and sorrow
some are tiny
twinkling hours
opals
(fire and ice)
emeralds
(like your eyes)
topaz, rubies, garnets
for the golden,
fire-touched hours
the first time
that
we touched
tiger eyes
my silky cat-man
purring in my dream
some gems are but
moments
flashes
of light
like the stars
against our dark
arctic skies
my necklace grows
its weight comforts me
and
lies upon my heart
it softly clicks
against my breasts
and dips, long,
to my waist,
to my knees
until I loop it again
around my neck
bright and dark
it moves with me
bejeweled bliss
rainbow
enrapt
hours, moments
precious days
our love forever
captured
in tiny
glittering
precious
gems
